have you ever been so wildly attracted to someone you can actually feel it driving you insane
3 sold out concerts in his home country, raising 600 thousand dollars for charity with his band mates, making a sick little girl’s live by spending five minutes hugging her and signing her stuff, what a wild weekend of emotional trauma brought to you by niall horan
I have gotten a couple messages like this, so I’ll just lay it out for you guys, if anybody really cares that is haha
I love One Direction with all of my heart. I really, truly do. It’s just that in recent months, I have lost my complete dedication to them. I feel like the boys have changed so much, which I am NOT saying is a bad thing. Not at all. they are still AMAZING young men, I mean look at what Niall did this weekend, they’re still helping people and words can not explain how much I love that. They are growing up and they are moving forward, and that calls for change for anybody. I just think that some of the genuine heart and excitement that used to be put into their careers is kind of gone. Which I understand, because they’re under immense pressure at all hours of the day. They can’t even fucking sleep without having to beg for people to leave them alone. I love that they’re adapting to their new lifestyles, but I hate that they have just had to get used to the bad parts of it when they were fighting it so hard. I feel like even they aren’t as close as they were before, and their personal lives are turned upside down at every possible chance. They don’t deserve that. Then there’s always shit going on in the fandom. I log into this Tumblr for the first time in weeks and I see this Zouis smoking video. Honestly, who gives a fuck. They’re young men, if they want to smoke, they can smoke. They are not children, and they are in no way responsible for the actions of their fans if that video intrigues them to try smoking. Let’s be honest, look at twitter and tumblr and tell me that there isn’t something about smoking all over it, if anybody says “1D made me do it” that’s bullshit. At no point in the video are they saying “hey kids, light up.” However, the racial slur was disrespectful and there’s no excuse for it. Not to mention that I don’t feel close with other fans either, everything feels like a contest and that’s not what it should be about. I love Niall, Harry, Louis, Liam, and Zayn. That won’t ever be untrue. Just like them, I have, as a person, changed. And never in a million years would I wish for the time I spent on these five wonderfully talented boys to be given back to me.
So, that’s why I have been absent.
